The Hype with "Mercury in Retrograde"

You may have possibly noticed an increase in mishaps with phones and emails or other types of communication glitches especially around December 10 and through December 30. Is it it just us encountering our typical malfunctions in life mixed with natural life changes and battle of progressing in personal and professional relationships? Well maybe we can blame the cosmic forces of Mercury. In case anyone was wondering about what's all the hype with Mercury Retrograde I gathered some information that might be enlightening. It's a volatile time in general and supposedly it is noted to avoid making any set plans or decisions in all realms of our life. It's a time to reflect on your life and become aware of the affects taking place and be present to all that surrounds you. Although some of us may think this is mere coincidence, it may be wise to track your progress either way through mercury retrogrades.
Pay particular attention to:
The Key Issue and What does Mercury affect

Other fun reads I suggest came from about.com Mercury Retrograde: What is Mercury Retrograde?

On a side note, during your introspection, I highly recommend yoga as a way for being present and for mastering balance in life.

Spice up the grilled cheese!

Eating healthy and being creative with food doesn't have to burn a whole in your pocket or increase your waist size. In my search for a satisfying snack I decided to give a spin on the grilled cheese sandwich. I even got my brother to try it and he's picky. He wanted 3 of them!
Here's what I used:
2 slices wheat bread, 1/2 cup Mexican cheese blend or 3-4 sliced cheeses of your choice, smart balance butter spread, bell pepper, my dads home made salsa or your choice (spicer the better).
Spread butter on both slices of bread let one grill on medium heat pan
Dice bell pepper thinly
Spread salsa on bread
Sprinkle bell pepper add sliced cheeses
Make sure to add salsa again. Cover with second slice. Flip to grill 3-5 minutes.
Move to plate. Your mouth might water so don't forget to turn off stove
Spicy grilled cheese sandwich!
Enjoy!

Mr. Sandman bring me a dream?

Who has time for sleep? How can we get enough sleep? Like real restful sleep without interruption? How much sleep is really needed? Is it possible to function properly on less? Can to much of it or not enough be detrimental in the long run? Why is it difficult to fall asleep right away especially with stress zipping around the brain and how can we combat it? Are pills really effective or should we stay away from them? Why do I feel like I can just fall asleep mid day easily? Sleep, its so essential and alleviates other ailments but why does it turn into this battle?
I've read, I've asked, boils down to proper exercise, well balanced diet, and a proper bed can help. Sounds easy? Not for all. I think what plays part in laying down to sleep is being able to get things off your chest and have conversations that will clear your head. Maybe make a list of things to do or journal what's plaguing the mind which are ways to let it go. Hopefully we will all be able to master the art of restful sleeping. Got to be starting something

I closed my eyes and had an epiphany.. It was to start a blog.. But why? Well for many reasons... We are dreamers and our lives are filled with infinite experiences to share. We blink our eyes and poof something happens.. Lately, I have had this twitch in my eye that won't go away and its driving me bananas.. Its telling me something... I know I havent slept enough, no consistent eating, and in the middle of a huge transition. So the twitching will continue and push me to keep going!
It's time to bounce back and get started for what is opening up for me! So much story telling to take place here but of course I hope it touches, moves and inspires anyone.
Stay tuned!!
